Performing strength exercise

Within your daily targets, you may find a “Strength” activity (as shown below).

By tapping on your “strength” activity, you will access a personalised strength session you should aim to complete during the day. A strength session is made of 1 or more exercises that should be completed from top to bottom.

Below you can see how a strength exercise looks like. You will find 3 important pieces of information: the name of the exercise, the number of repetitions (reps, or how many times you need to repeat the exercise) and the intensity of the exercise.

This example shows an strength exercise with the following characteristics:

  • Name: Sit to stand
  • Repetitions: 10
  • Intensity: Moderate

When it comes to strength exercise, the suggested intensity indicates how the activity should feel BY THE END of the set (after you complete all the repetitions).

In the example above (moderate intensity), completing 10 sit to stands should feel “somewhat hard”. This also means that after completing those repetitions you should feel you could do a few more repetitions.

The table below shows the equivalences so you can better understand what different intensities should feel like.
